ABCMI Vancouver – Trade Mission in partnership with COVE

What is the ABCMI Trade Mission / Conference

• Hosted by the Association of British Columbia Marine Industries (ABCMI), this event is known as the Business Opportunities Conference & Trade Show. (Oceans Advance)
• Date & Location: October 21-22, 2025 in Vancouver, BC, at the Vancouver Convention Centre.
• It includes a trade mission component via Oceans Advance in partnership with ACOA (Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency), plus Atlantic partners. (investnovascotia.ca)
• The trade mission takes place Oct 20-23, with networking receptions, industry site-visits/tours, and an “Atlantic Canada booth” for participating companies.

Purpose & Key Goals

• Business Development / Market Expansion
  The event is aimed at marine / ocean tech / supply chain companies looking to connect with BC’s marine sector (shipbuilding, marine transportation, defence, procurement). It gives businesses a chance to explore new contracts, partnerships, and exposure in Western Canada.
• Visibility & Showcase
  Through exhibiting in the Atlantic Canada booth, companies get the chance to showcase their products or services to a broader audience, including buyers and prime contractors.
• Networking & Relationship-Building
  Events like receptions, tours, and trade show presence are built in to help participants meet industry leaders, procurement reps, and stakeholders in marine & defence sectors. Useful to build credibility and find leads.
